Nothing really fancy. 1858 Remington cap-n-ball by Dixie Gun Works ala Uberti.

Have NO idea how to shoot it yet, but love the lines of this repop of a gun.

I just used tight fitting conical bullets. most would shave a little lead ring off when being seated. Never had a problem . Get a caper save fumbling with caps.

I liked the RCBS bullet lube. I know several guys who load tight enough to shave the lead, and in my Ruger Old Army that's what I did until my friend was shooting it and it flashed another round off. It shouldn't have done it, and I've not heard of or seen another do it, but it spooked me all the same. I also wasn't there when the guy loaded it...........so anything is possible, even though he told me followed procedure.
