Ran in MO Saturday, this crappy weather has kept me off the trails all week. Been lifting a little, did P90X Plyo the other day.
Gotta get back in the groove....

Just finished a 4 week cycle, getting ready for the next round.

Week1
Back, Shoulders, Legs, Chest, Back, Cardio, Rest

Week2
Shoulders, Legs, Chest, Back, Shoulders, Cardio, 25 mile bike ride

Week3
Legs, Chest, Back, Shoulders, Legs, Rest, Cardio

Week4
Chest, Back, Shoulders, Legs, Chest, Cardio(tomorrow), Rest

Back to my regular routine with traveling with working. 2 day a week split with the lifting, box 2 days a week, 3 off days. Chest, shoulders- Sunday; arms, legs- Thursday; box Tuesday and Friday; totally off Monday, Wednesday, Saturday.

I haven't posted lately but I have kept running. 16 outings in January and 14 in February for 75 and 65 miles, respectively. I have made it out 3 times so far this month, even with the snow and ice. It's been interesting and a bit slower (Wednesday night was slippery out there!).

Ready to really ramp up to about 20 runs a month in March since it will be warmer. I don't know if I will hit 100 miles. Probably closer to 90 so I don't up too much at once.

January - 21 workouts, 1318 minutes, 13625 calories

I bet that made you sore! I have done 13 on roads, but only like 7 for my longest at TM. I remember it killed me.

No, but I was wore smooth out. I repeated the same run in the mud the other day, brutal.
I did Plyo X Monday, been doing a small bit of lifting the rest of the week.

Off today, 10K at Post Oak tomorrow, 1/2 marathon at Post Oak on Sunday. Gonna be a long weekend.

Good luck. My wife is working tens at the hospital this weekend. So no race for me.

I got 8 miles in today though. Mixed surface trail at Lafortune. Muddy but beautiful weather.

Great workout this morning: Partner workout

P1 20 slam balls while P2 holds one DB/KB in front rack hold

P2 400 meter run while P1 holds two DB/KBs in a farmer's hold

P1 15 box jumps while P2 holds two DB/KBs in overhead, locked out position

Keep going until each partner has done each rep 4 times.

I love working out with my wife because she's a nazi…keeps pushing me when I'm ready to just put my hands on my knees and gasp for air LOL.

Still doing 2 weight workouts and 2 boxing/martial arts workouts a week but diet is my problem, too much good food out there to enjoy. And I hate doing cardio, running, etc- Im a lift heavy and hit/kick the bag kind of guy. I try to eat as healthy as I can but its hard when Im schmoozing people for work having to eat in alot of restaurants plus with no more kids at home and the wife busy in her career we arent cooking as much at home as we used to either. It can be done and I will do it but its just so damned hard to do.
