I use 50gr ballistic tips out of my .222. most of the time it does not exit on coyotes. Shot one bobcat with it and it pretty much removed its head.........I wouldn't shoot a bobcat with them unless it's a head shot for fear of pelt damage. Your .223 will be a tad faster of course.

Very explosive expansion. Like Okie said. If you are saving pelts, head shots are best. Just want them dead, works great. Gophers make a nice red mist and pieces from my .223.

Thanks guys. I went ahead and ordered half a case of them. So good to go on coyotes, varmits, but am glad to know it would ruin things as well. Did not know anyone that has used it. Thanks again!
