If you commit a crime, do your time, do you get freedom of speech, religion, assembly, etc....restored?

Of course you should get your rights restored.

Frankly, if someone can go 10 years without getting in trouble again, I have no problem with it. To be honest though, I'm a moderately strict 2A guy. If the crime wasn't bad enough to execute the guy, I don't think his rights should be infringed anyway.

I tend to lean this way also. As long as it was a non-violent felony, and they've stayed out of trouble since then (I'd be satisfied with 5 years ... 10 seems kinda excessive to me) they should have all the rights those of us who were lucky enough not to get caught when we were kids doing stupid stuff have ...

As soon as a person is released from prison they have been deemed able to live amongst the rest of us in society, and the second their foot touches freedom, all their rights should be fully restored.
