My front detent spring that locks the flash hider in place decided to seize up. It's push in and won't spring back out. I been tapping it with punches with no luck. Looks like it will be a job for a gunsmith that works on AK rifles. Need one local. Tulsa BA area. Let one know where I can find one.

If you have a real small punch and hammer you can fix it yourself. Knock out the cross pin. Then tap the detention pin and spring out. Put a cloth over so you don't loose the spring. Then give the detention a light file so it doesn't bind and put it all back together. Not worth paying a smith to do. It is a easy as turning a wrench.
