If you guys or gals know anyone with land for sale to stick a mobil home on .
Or know anyone who moves Mobile homes.. or know of a trailer park that will accept a fixer upper to be moved in.

My son has been burned so many times on almost home purchase and rent.

We may be moving it soon.

How many of you live in a mobile home park?
What is the lot rent and what does it include?
thanks guys,, and gals

Norman doesn't have many trailer parks left, and it looks like they're mostly full, probably because one of the few big ones recently got converted into a WalMart Neighborhood Market and a bunch of apartment buildings. I know the people who were displaced by that squawked a lot because they didn't have anywhere else to go.

You might be able to find lots in east Norman, but the 2020 Plan included restrictions on lot sizes east of 24th Avenue (east) that (IMHO) intentionally put the squeeze on trailer houses. You'll probably have better luck in Noble, far SE OKC, or out east of Norman (east of 180th).

Something to be aware of. Most mobile home parks have restrictions on the age of the house and most counties will not let you put a mobile on less than 10 acres.

Yep talked to one at sunnylane road and restrictions on age of home are in place.
But they will waive that age thing if it looks like a nice trailer.. basically updated to look newer.
This one is updated with T111 siding. shingled roof and does not look too bad.. I need to finish out soffit and facia and some trim and it will look really good.
Like a new one.

Once you've got the updating done, take pictures of the trailer all the way around. Then, take those pictures with you when checking out mobile home parks. Some RV parks do the same thing for older RV's by limiting to 10-year-old RV's or newer, unless one can show pictures of a nice looking RV.

"Most counties won't let you put a mobile on less than 10 acres." What? Do you have a list of counties that restrict that?

Never really researched it past Rogers, Tulsa and Wagner all 3 require 10 acres. Might get lucky like we did, we are on 7 1/2 because it was grandfathered. Original plot was 15 acres when a mobile was put on it, Owner sold 1/2 of it to a church and the other 1/2 to us. Because it already had a mobile we were able to move our mobile on in it's place.

There are a few developments that have zoning exceptions and have 1/4 or 1/2 acre lots kinda like a park except you buy the lot.
