Just what is says. Doing this for my Senate Rep who hasn't heard of any groups here that are in favor of it, so SPEAK UP! He's listening.

If you can legally own a gun you should be able to carry it. I highly recommend people get training though.

The financially disadvantaged shouldn't be priced out of their birth right of self defense.

Absolutely. However, I'd also like to see a public campaign by the state, in partnership with the NRA and NSSF, urging people to get training. That would be money and time well spent.

What kind of training would you think would be a minimum?

I don't think he meant there should be a minimum. If there is a minimum it isn't constitutional carry.

I would like to see the NRA start to give out free training on the basics. I really think this could be carried out by volunteers.

Did I say anything about a minimum "required"? No
I asked one man his opinion on a minimum level of training that he things would be a good idea.
