IMHO absolutely the best/cheapest hams are uncooked .. it's not possible for a reheated or cooking a cooked ham a second time be good as a freshly cooked ham. after searching up and down for the last few years, it's all but impossible to find uncooked ham.
the closest are cooked ham with bone .. comes out OK .. but no where near good as starting with an uncooked ham!
found mine at Aldi for .89cent lb ... switching to fresh pork roast instead.

wife bought a real good smoked/sliced ham from Aldi's a few weeks ago. Even had a $5 off coupon attached. Never have seen that before.
.78 cents for a whole hoglet...mmmm
