Not a bad idea. I do have a dremel, but not sure I trust keeping it flush throughout the cut.
I guess it could work, but how would you keep the cut square?
It has guides on the sides of the blade, so its square when you put it on... 
If you were closer I'd let ya borrow my stuff. I had a complete bow shop set up in my barn when I used to work on bows but I've since quit so all my tools are just gathering dust.
