Funny thing, outside of being done in Texas where the left wing prosecutors can get an indictment on Santa for breaking and entering, they were indicted for documents to set up the fake company and for buying tissue. Where did they buy the tissue? PP perhaps?

Why is that so funny to you, YukonGlocker?

Maybe save your laughter till the investigation is over, Mkay?

"Abbott's office noted in a statement that Paxton and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission still are investigating the videos.

"Nothing about today's announcement in Harris County impacts the state's ongoing investigation," Abbott said. "The State of Texas will continue to protect life, and I will continue to support legislation prohibiting the sale or transfer of fetal tissue."

After many investigations those videos brought about, PP has been found to be operating completely within the law. They aren't using tax dollars for abortions. They aren't pressuring women to get abortions. Tissue exchanges are legit. As reported, only 3% of their total procedures are abortions. An now, it turns out that the only criminals were those making the mis-leading videos.

PP was under investigation before the videos, and will be long after the video investigations are done with. Old news. I'm laughing at the idiots who made the videos...and will continue to do so (regardless of the outcome).

YukonGlocker, PP may be within the law but at the very least it will shed light on the ugly, debasing, and I would argue, inhuman practices of PP. The Nazi death camps were legally allowed to recoup costs by slave labor (well save costs in that case), selling remaining possessions (like silver tooth fillings and gold crowns), and it has been alleged, offering various parts for experimentation.
I find it sadly ironic that one of the two charges against the film makers was...you guessed it...trying to purchase human body parts...which PP was offering for sale.

Good to know it didn't take long to compare PP to Nazis. They were fully within the law to sell the tissue for research and other purposes but the people filming were lying about their ability to purchase the tissue. Glad someone has som sense to prosecute the idiots trying to stage this crap

Yeah, I understand the position of disagreement with PP's abortion practices, and abortion in general. That isn't what's interesting about this case, for me.

Would you have preferred if I had used the slavery analogy? Lawful, but always morally suspect and eventually (nearly) universally condemned - I notice that those who object to WW-II National Socialism's extreme formal legalism as a good example of lawful not equaling moral usually have no problem citing the slavery issue. The comparison was actually quite appropos.
