6.8. Definitely 6.8 over the .300 Blackout.
Why do you say that? I mean... sure, the 6.8 can stretch a helluva lot further, but I ain't a marksman. No way I'm going to be hitting anything beyond 200 yards, and most likely going to try to keep it 100 and under, if possible.

First with a .44 mag, second with a bow. Up close and personal is the most fun. Only two I've ever taken. Thank God we don't have them around here.

That's what I have. The loads you can build to put through those guns is impressive. Massive fireballs is what I'm talking!
Going to convert it to a 5 1/2" to carry in Alaska the next time we go.
300 blackout... blackout is anemic in power. It is named appropriately.
