There won't be any of those ugly windfarms on it either. Those things are a blight on the prairie. I live in Osage County. Driving to Pawhuska you used to have unfettered views of land that is almost with out trees and bluestem grass belly high to a steer. Now its stupid windfarms.

I read somewhere that the Osage Tribe bid 77 million for the ranch.
It's nice to hear that several tribes are looking out for their long term futures and doing well for themselves.
Legitimate question: Does the tribe pay property taxes to the county for it's property? Does the Nature Conservancy? Did Ted Turner?
