I need to get another scope.. mine did not hold zero..
First scope I had that ecer lost zero and still had all the glass in it.
Got a POI shift 3" to the right after the gun rolled over on the concrete table and thumped the scope..I thumped it many more times on purpose to sii if POI would change again and it did not.
Wondering if it changes POI just a tad during shooting..Taking it back

What brand? Age?
The newer model Centerpoint 4-16x40 TAG series. Less than 6 months old.
The old Mil Dot 4-16x40 Centerpoint scope, I never had any issues with it. It sits on my 30-06 and has fallen from a tree over 8 foot to the frozen ground. It is over 5 years old Still holding Zero ..and I adjust elevation when shooting 500 yards or 300 yards.. It goes right back to where it was every time. It has Target Turrets on it.
The Newer style does not.
These are air rifle or BB gun rated also.. I shook 2 bushnells apart on my 30-06 The .308 shook a Pursuit (Bass pro brand apart in 40 shots)
I do see people tapping on the turrets after adjusting the windage or elevation to make things set in.. Is that really needed???
This scope will shoot same POI at 4 or 16 power.. But if i must tap it.
