    Default What's a good ar-15 lower

Looking in to building an ar-15 soon but I don't know much about different manufacturers. Any suggestions for a lower? The cheaper the better.

More or less they are all the same. DPMS, Yankee Hill, Stag, get a cheap lower and save your money for a quality barrel. A cheap one shouldn't be to hard to find around $100.

I tend to favor the black colored lowers. Centerfire has some (I think) for $99.99.

My opinion alone is that they are with the exception of the logo on the side! Some might argue with that. The real question is how much do you want to spend?
