Cannot answer with the amount of info provided.

It depends on your out-of-state permit. If it allows its use to be continued when you become an OK resident (drivers license, etc) then it is okay.

If your permit becomes invalid when you become an OK resident, then you don't have a valid permit; no OK (or anywhere else) carry at that point.

I'm making an assumption that the permit involved is a Mississippi permit; don't know if this assumption is correct from info in this thread. Many states resident permits become invalid once an individual no longer is a resident of the particular state.

According to Mississippi Weapon Permit Laws § 45-9-101 subsection (2)(a)
The Department of Public Safety shall issue a license if the applicant: (a)
Is a resident of the state and has been a resident for twelve (12) months or longer immediately preceding the filing of the application;

Further in the same Mississippi statues:

(11) A license issued under this section shall be revoked if the licensee becomes ineligible under the criteria set forth in subsection (2) of this section.

Perhaps there is a provision elsewhere in the MS statutes for a MS permit to remain valid once MS residency is relinquished, but such provision is not present in the above statute. See link to complete statute: http://www.dps.state.ms.us/dps/dps.nsf/divpages/hp2fpu-permits?OpenDocument
