I've been researching the same thing. It looks like most people have really good luck with Reloader 22 powder. Cases tend to be a bit finicky. The hard core types run European brass like Lapua or Norma. I'm planning to get ramped up on this round this spring.

That link that MoBoost gave has the best advice.

"Please use caution on any new loads make sure to follow all safety guidelines if your not sure about a load don't do it !!!!!
Get several reloading manuals and follow them"

As a general rule you want to start well below any max load.
Work up slowly and watch for signs of stress.

Anytime I get info from someone I start low and work up.
It does help sometimes to find out what powders, bullets, and primers guys had luck with.

Most of the component manufacturers have data on thier websites.
For the most part they're are all slow to moderate loads.
Good place to start.

I don't have a 6.5 mauser so I can't help you much.
