So about a year ago I guess, Monarch lost a plant. Apparently that plant is back online and cranking out .380 like no other. So our ammo problems may be close to an end, I can find almost every caliber at Walmart, and can find every caliber at academy now. Not the best prices I have ever seen, but better prices. Academy is carrying .380 at 14.99 a box for 95grain JHP. Bought my wife a Ruger LCP in Raspberry pink, and was able to pick up a box of Blazer and 3 of Monarch in the same week, when I havent been able to get a box (that I was willing to pay for) for my .380 Mak in the past year.
Picked up a 100rd box at BA Wally World the other day. I was suprised to see it. Wish they would have had more.
I saw Monarch on the shelf at Academy as well, but it was 5.56 and 7.62x39. I take it this stuff is ok for plinking?
