Has anybody ever seen a blued Smith & Wesson J frame revolver with a blackened hammer and trigger?

I found this one over on the Blue forum and I noticed the hammer and trigger isn't colored case hardened like every other blued J frame I ever seen.

I thought so too, but you can tell it's factory.

The gun, that is. The hammer and trigger may have been re-done...but why? :anyone:

Nope, not factory, aftermarket, roll marks are rounded not well defined, an somebody buggered up the sideplate screws.

It's not a bad look though... it's different.

BTW: Which Blue forum do you go to?

GED is refering to the original S&W forum. I'm also a member over there, but visit very little now days, to many folks over there looking to fight an argue over anything you say. Met alot of nice folks there, and most of those have moved to the new S&W forum, an we're pretty picky about who gets in, just keeps it a nicer place to visit.
