I have a 1:10 in twist in a 24" barrel and am in need for a good load that will do well at 800yds+ or a good hunting round for 600yds+
Any suggestions?

My favorite hunting load is a Speer 165 gr. over 45 grs of BLC2 powder. Grouped very well and worked great on mule deer, elk and caribou.

This load gives me 5 shoot groups you could cover with a dime at 100 and will clock over the chrony at 2650fps give or take a few fps from a 26" barrel. This load has dropped many a deer out to 520 yards so far with 5 making it about 30 yards from when they were hit and they were all under 100 yards, the deer out past 200 were bang flops. My little brothers load works just as well from my rifle and will clock across the chrony at 2670fps

As always start a little lower on the powder charge and work your way up! these loads work fine in our rifles but they could blow yours up! be safe. Later,

Kirk
