I was curious if anyone has run into a Bi-pod that could be used for a DPMS LR-308. This issue I'm running into is that I would like to mount it to my hand guard as to prevent stress to the barrel and causing inaccuracies. My handguard is a DPMS Free Float Tube Handguard DPMS LR-308 Rifle Length and I'm hoping that I don't have to switch it to a different one. Here is a link to show you the design of it.

The Harris Bi-Pod is going to be the best bet for that rifle. It is light, solid and if you order the S models it will swivel if the bipod is on uneven ground. It is what most 3-gunners use on their open rifles, like Jerry Miculec. you would want the one that is the next longest one than the "Bench rest" version I think it goes from 4" to 12", or something like that. and you want the adjustible legs.
