Wonderful revolvers,I have one I bring out to play with sometimes but with the prices on these, especially the short bbls, going thru the roof it stays in the safe most of the time now.You have to shoot one to appreciate them. I really think if Colt brought back the Python and Diamondback now they would sell when the economy comes back. Wish I had a Python.

Ponca City,OK.
I read once that the rifling in the .22 Diamondbacks were too shallow and didn't engage the bullet enough for the best accuracy. I have never owned one and couldn't say if this is true.

I've shot lots of them.
Owned a couple.
The reputation is well earned.

One of the ones I owned was a lemon.
You know that one in a million.
It literally broke twice.
Lucky me huh?
I traded to a smith for work.
Never regretted that trade.

Are the Colt Diamondback and the Diamondback the same gun? I have heard lot of bad things about the diamondback, Google Diamondback reviews.
