I didn't say I was a good shot at that distance. Thats why I might use the Wby Mag and give it a try. Never have tried to shoot anything that far away. Just watch them through the glasses from my deck. I have seen Cougars, Bob cats,coyotes, as well as Bear tracks by the spring as well as all the little critters
