Here, but occasionally There.
We're doomed! In ten years the earth will be under water!
Wait.....didn't they say the earth would be in an ice age in ten years back in the 70's?

Well, that is what Time magazine said at the time...

...now, however, Time decided to "sign onto" the global warming thing and tried to "retract" their 1970's story...

...the one where they reported that scientists were suggesting covering the Arctic and Antarctic with soot so as to reduce the "emanation" of cold from the ice. And, just to make it richer, a few years or so ago, some scientists were suggesting we put lots and lots of reflective "umbrellas" in space to reflect back the sun's rays.

(You would think that their theory was very close to being the same as believing that the Sun is the biggest cause of warming when that happens.)

Coalgate, Ok.
The berg is big. Damn big but it's floating ice. Was not on top of land or hovering above the sea. It won't suddenly raise the water level like a fat guy getting into a bathtub.
If it's global warming or just normal climate change, it's still news and not fake news.
It's real. It's real cold and it's real big.
That's news period.

Hell ya! let's put coal dust on the ice to increase the melting. That would stop the glaciers from overtaking the rest of the world. Dang good idea there!
Oh wait.....it's warming now, that won't work. Yeah, the reflectors would work. An umbrella of reflectors is going to save the world in ten years.
Lets figure this out now......which political donor is going to get the contract?

UUUHHHH.....what am I going to do with it? My garage is full and the wife says she won't park outside.
Very few win the internet of the day award. It's not my place to direct where your award must be displayed.
One must man up and tell the blushing bride where the priorities stand. March into the house, state your case, take your beating, and then figure out where the alternative site is going to be.
