I remember reading some time ago a Mike Venturino article in either shooting times or guns and ammo about stuffing a couple 2 or three 000 buck shots in a 38 or 357 case for multiple projectile rounds. Here's a link a guy on Greybeards forum sent me. http://www.castpics.net/LoadData/Round%20Ball%20Loads.pdf Anyway I have 6 rounds loaded up. I started with a lite charge, then a cardboard wad to kind of keep the powder down inside, dropped a couple 000 Buck shot, crimped, and finished up with a drop of Lee Alox on the top to kind of seal it. Also because of the sizing issue of .350 000 buck I had two options. Peening them to a slightly larger size or coating them in Alox which I did. Since then I've found some .360 BP balls that I haven't tried yet. I'm hoping to get to try these out soon. But given the way I've been busy lately and the weather who knows when. Anyone else on here ever mess with this madness? By best hope is that these might work on yard critters. I don't see them as a viable SD round.
