What wt bullet should this barrel (16" stag 1/9 5.56) be happies being feed ? 25-100 yd shots mainly.
I've shot anything from 40gn V-Max to 69 SMKs with no problems.
Anything under 75 grain should do OK. But the 45-62 grain bullets should be optimal. I've got some 75 gr Hornady TAP FPD Hollow Point rounds I can use for deer hunting.

You've got 100gr Hornady HP rounds for .223?!?!??!
My bad, wasn't paying attention... .223 75 grain TAP FPD's.
Don't know why I was thinking 100 gr. .... unless I had the .243 rounds in mind.

Kool --45-62gr about the same as what my XP100 221fb eats !
