10.5” 5.56 SBR Ammo Recommendations

Any recommendations on the best ammo (commercial) for a 10.5“ 5.56 SBR? I was looking at the 75gr Hornady TAP, however all the places that sell it require proof of first responder. (I am not) Let me know any other options I should be looking at.

I can’t believe they require that. I used to buy that and never had to show anything. I would ask them what makes that ammo so different that only “first responders “ can buy it.

IMI 77 grain razor core if it's a 1/7-1/8, if it's a 1/9 I'd run the 69 grain razor corr

Inside a house distance, Mk262 or some clone of it. If you possibly want to take animals or shoot outside 50 yards(ish) you’d be better off with Federal Fusion or Speer Gold Dot in the 62-75 grain range.

mine eats anything and I woldent want to get hit by any of it. That being said. IF you have any hope to hear again after shooting it indoors without hearing protection then a suppressor is an absolute must
