Well I knew I got some of those from a nice lady here along with 125 SP
So I went and loaded up some .308 and 30-06 cases with IMR4064 and 110 SP and will try and get out to send them
down range soon.
If they are 2 MOA at 100 I will be happy and that should put a a nice hole in a critter.
I have some coon traps set on a buddies place that will get checked tomorrow.
I will shoot at 100 yards and 50 yards

I have some 110s I got cheap, figured I’d try them in the 30.06. Initially when got them I was thinking I’d go toward the screaming high velocity varmint exploder direction with them. Now I find myself leaning toward trying some light easy plinking low velocity loads with ‘em…

I will be curious to see your results

I got some 125 grain SP in .308 from a member here until realizing the 30-30 requires .307 rounds.
It's only a thousandth of an inch, but....
Somebody needs to tell sierra they have the wrong dia.

.30-30 doesn't "require" .307. I've fired .311 in two of mine.

Just load them up. Start low in the data, work your way up. The only difference is possibly some slightly higher pressure, which is why you start low with the loading data.

That .001" will make no appreciable difference in shooting

If it will chamber it will shoot.

I slugged my 1974 model 94 30-30 and it was .308" I shoot .309" cast in it.
And always shot .308 jacketed.
I do have some really old .307 bullets 150gr.
I have shot those in .308 with a healthy charge of BL-C(2) 2980 FPS.
Deadly accurate and rips apart skunks and 'coons.
