it has nothing to do with knowledgeable members and everything to do with the ATF gettin up in that @zz... noone wants to risk puttin 3-400 into a gun and then having the atf say ya, no, ya, no.... we changed out minds... as far as legality goes, its legal, just laminate the letter and shrink it and zip tie it to the gun... i personally feel it will stay legal until everyone starts doin it, then they will change their mind. good part is, DONT ASK, DONT tell! build it up, play with it, and if rule goes away, get rid of the short barrel
Has anyone in Oklahoma ordered one? I agree with the opinion on it's legal now, just keep the letter and if somethin changes, get rid of the short barrel!
As a lawyer, I do feel confident enough in my reading of the laws to agree that it is presently legal. I want to order one, but I can't seem to get ahold of the seller (Len?). If someone will point me the right way, I'll buy it. I am not giving legal advice mind you, just stating my personal opinion and what I would choose to do.
Well, I put the Raptor on my 18.5 and it's pretty stinking cool, it doesn't need to be any shorter than that to be COOL. I like my chances if the zombies attack.
