1868 Dodge Dart restoration

My nephew restored this Dart from the ground up and stayed as original as he could until it came to the motor. Took the 383 out and put in the 426 with 3 double barrels on top. Haven't been for a ride yet but he says it's fast. I'll take his word for it. He has a dedicated 1/4 mile mustang on nitrous he runs at the strip.

I thought Ford was first major automaker in US. Dodge built that Dart 3 yrs after the end of the Civil War according to headline. LOL
Nice car anyway. Looks good for something that old.

Might be a 426 Wedge...I believe 6 pack set ups are more common for them than for Hemis.
