If you remove the grip bushings yourself use a tool made for the job :

There is a handle that goes with the attachment.
If you strip the bushing slots trying to take out the bushing use an "easy out " to remove the bushing.
When putting in the new bushings make sure that the magazine well side of the bushing is flush with the inside wall of the magazine well. If not sand or file till flush. Use locktite to secure or the classic staking tool.
For your purposes, I would suggest blue locktite if you want to remove the bushings in the future to go back to the regular bushings...red and or green and they are there for the "duration." They can be gotten out with the easy out but the bushings are usually toast :):):)

PS: There is a shorter driver for the slim bushings...open the Brownell listing to see both order numbers.
