With lead, you need a place to put the grease. Even coated bullets have the grease ring, they just don't require it for function.

That's gotta be prior to plating. I'm not sure where you'd find those molds.

Yeah, I haven't found any molds like this, oh well, I'll just use the one I have.

Those are precision bullets which are 6/2 lead alloy with a dry lube on them. Shoot great in everything I've tried them in
