One of my friends killed a good one this morning working a scrape in Grady county

Got this guy chasing a doe yesterday evening. 11 point with split g2's on both sides, 156lbs.

My dry spell ended yesterday evening near Ardmore.





I watched her and her friends for about 30 minutes, took about a zillion pictures. This one finally moved close enough that I felt confident with the shot.
Marlin .45-70 with 250 grain LeverEvolution ammo.

I haven't yet. The one in my profile pic scored 164 and I think this one may get close to that. That could just be the excitement overestimating though.
