Had someone call me as they drove through the area. He was up and gone, thank goodness! I know bucks get dumb, but let's not have your cool down on the shoulder of a highway! LOL

Thursday night I had a very nice 10 point run out in the road in front of me and sniff the blacktop for about 30 seconds. Me and the gentleman on the other side of him just had to wait until he figured out which way the doe went.
It was fun to watch but they do just lose their minds.

Got here about 1:15, chasing and bird dogging going on.

Saw at least two different bucks this morning ... one chasing a doe, the other bird dogging. Neither one a shooter.

I saw a couple spikes and a yearling doe early (3 something), but as soon as the wind laid about 4:45, the deer really started to move. Tomorrow morning ought to be hopping!!!
