Saw a fair amount of activity this morning. A buck and doe hanging together grazing on wheat. Then, a doe, fawn and buck ... he was doing a little bit of half-hearted chasing. Then, a couple of lone does ... probably should have taken one of them. Then, two !@#*%! dogs showed up! Don't know where they came from ... never seen them before ... but they spooked the doe, fawn and buck out of the timber, then spooked a little forkhorn out. I was P!$$ed!!!

Nocturnal bucks are giving me the fits!

This guy has shown up in the last two weeks walking through and feeding on our 5 acres. 3.5?

After seeing a lot of deer last week, this week has sucked. My brother in law and his son shot small raked bucks last Saturday and their tarsal glands were just beginning to turn brown. I can't figure out what the heck is going on since I have seen some chasing.
