Thanks all. It's the hunting trip I look forward to every year more than any other. After field dressing, getting it off the mountain, skinned in the barn, you wonder why in the hell do you put yourself through such misery? Two days later, the bad part is all forgotten, and ready for next year!

Congrats guys! I was bummed I didn't draw out for NM elk last year. Oh well, need to start buying points to hunt WY. Then again, I need to get my butt in shape first, I would have been dead on the side of the hill... a mile from the truck :-)

Draw hunt applications are currently being accepted in New Mexico.

UMMMM, some folks believe in eating the placenta.
