2018 Great Crappie Thread

They girls landed 70 crappie this evening. It's a pond here on the ranch. Even the 3yo got a few. There were a few really good ones.

I try. The two older ones actually loaded their stuff in the ol Ford and went to the pond a good hour before the wife, 3yo and I showed up. I let them go early and get the bite figured out. When I got there I saw both of em landing fish. I don't take fish off for em or tie jigs back on. I tell em I'm only there for emergency situations. Lol.

Very nicely done. I agree, teach them early to take care of themselves and things are much better for them later in life.

AWESOME!!! Good for you for letting the little one's go catch some fish.

Most guys around here are too worthless to take their kids fishing!
