I just can't help myself today.
Well, saw a little buck about 9, some saw a bobcat, little buck about 9:20 and a good buck chasing a doe about 10:15, they are moving for sure
I sure wish I could successfully maintain two hunting properties, but of course, I live over 500 miles from my place. I’ve actually got a second place but have focused my efforts on the one I own due to my limited time. The lease on the second property is good through 2022, and since my son has a stable big boy job and more time off, I’m trying to convince him to take over and work on the lease place. He’s still at the age though that Dad’s supposed to do all the work and have everything ready for him to come hunt.
Me too . . . I'm about 100 miles from both and would definitely like to be closer to "baby" them more.
These are my brother's places . . . our dad runs the cattle for him. I help out when I can and put up stands, cameras and feeders on occasion . . .
My son just called, and he’s at the lease place right now and just saw 4 bucks chasing one doe. He said two of them were pretty nice. I guess the rut may be on.
Any chance you could pack some fencing tools with ya and fix that broken wire while you're sitting around?
I saw 7 doe this morning in Greer County.
My son just called. His friends that have silver spoons and don’t have to work are rubbing it in. ‘You shoulda been hunting. Deer are running all over the place’. I got held up at work, then got held up at the house when I came home. To late to go out,dangit
I have to scout from my portable stand to and from work seven days a week I’m seeing a lot of does by their selves and just young bucks but come opening weekend myself and the girls will be in our blinds the big boss can you know what
