80% of the deer I've taken have been cleaned after dark or right at dusk. Keep plenty of headlamps in the backpack to light up the night.

The amount of time it takes me to quarter one out and get back home makes for a long Monday. I'm very picky about the process so unless my freezer is hurting, or it's the last chance, I usually pass on does on Sunday night.
