I'm not a Vet, but that tumor looks like hardware disease. You see it in cattle and other ruminants.Nice buck #2 . . . with a weird tumor on his chest.

The cheapy spypoints are doing me well. One thing about them is they do back them up with warranty good, had a couple quit and they just replaced and paid shipping both ways. They are finicky on service, must get a good signal or may send some pictures at random times or may not send all the picts it took. but i am loving it.
Your Spartans likely use the same interface, but double check (spartan support would probably be best). At $20 per, it's hard to beat. You can also use just the regular antennae you pull off the camera, depending on what the gain rating is.I’ve been using cell cameras for 10 years, and they’ve worked great. For some reason, 4 of my camera locations have ZERO service now. I’ve talked to a guy I know that lives close, and he confirmed that ATT service had in fact gotten worse.
I’m going to try MIH’s external antenna idea.

Gain is how much boost of strength the antennae is rated at. Usually 1, 2, 5, 10, etc. Interface is how the do dad connects to the thingy ma Bob on the camera.
