Less than 6k total deer taken since the holiday doe started last Saturday, folks aren't out shooting doe. 110874 total for the season as of this morning.

It’s a 44 mag with a factory 240gr. jacketed soft point. I wasn’t able to get any of my hand loads put together before hand.

Another doe came in tonight and the Ruger SBH did it again. Best of all both of these does were mature and had already weaned their little ones.

Less than 6k total deer taken since the holiday doe started last Saturday, folks aren't out shooting doe. 110874 total for the season as of this morning.

I went out these past two days, sunup to sundown on public land. Covered about 25 miles on foot across 2 WMAs, saw one deer. Was pretty disappointing. I didn’t see another soul hunting deer. But I did find an absolute treasure trove for squirrels that I intend on taking advantage of soon.
