If you are considering a Taurus,,,
Look at the polymer version.

It's called the 22-PLY.

It says PT-22 on the slide but that's because they used the same slide for the 22-PLY build.

Mine has been extremely reliable with Mini-Mags,,,
I can't remember the last time it jammed.

The gun lives in a hidey-hole in my car,,,
I shoot at least one mag through her every range trip.

Every other owner of the 22-PLY that I've spoken to reports the same reliability,,,
Taurus seems to have fixed the problems that plagued the PT-22.

The capacity of the 22-PLY is 8+1,,,
Load it up with 40 grain LRN Mini-Mags and you'll be happy.

I keep it clean and well lubed,,,
Maybe that's why it runs so well for me.

Right now budsgunshop.com has the stainless steel upper version for $235.00,,,
The black version usually goes for $199.00.

Just tossing that out there,,,

For some unknown reason, I have developed a "want" for a .22lr pocket pistol. Been looking at the Beretta Model 21 Bobcat and the Ruger LCP in .22lr mostly. Your opinions on either of these, or perhaps another perhaps are appreciated. The only thing I am talking aboiut is true pocket guns. I don't need an another M&P .22 Compact or PPK/S or Ruger MKIV; I want a teeny-tiny-itsy-bitsy-pocket-pistola.
