i've got a nice Ruger M77 in 257 Roberts, has a custom inlayed stock that my Dad did yrs ago, we just don't shoot it, and i'm contemplating on selling it or trading it, just don't know what it's worth...wasn't sure if this was a caliber that was being used much today

Same here, m77RS. Definitely an under appreciated round. Mine probably hasn't been fired in 20 years.

My hunting buddy shoots one. It's one of his favorites ... maybe THE favorite. I wouldn't turn loose of it ... but that's just me.

Now that you mention it ... I recently acquired a rifle that may require re-barreling. If that has to happen, the .257 Roberts would be a prime candidate. Hhhhhhmmmmm ...
