I got a never been shot Browning x bolt in 26 nosler on a trade deal today has anyone done any hunting with this caliber?

No experience personally, but based on velocities, and retained energy at distance, it should handily do the job.

Never got to shoot one, but watched a guy at the range shoot one. Its purdy damned impressive. He said it has the same velocity @400 yards as 6.5 Creedmoor has @ the muzzle with a 130gr bullet

I got a box of 140 grain accubond I think with it too the casing is the same as the 300 win mag I believe

It seems the COAL is the same as the 30-06 and the parent case is the .404 Jeffrey.

I been looking all morning everywhere trying to see if there is a break in method they prefer for this rifle and I can’t find anything anyone have any suggestions

I’ve read lots of things about barrel break in, and the only conclusion I can surmise is that the results are inconclusive.
