i buy barrels from a wildcatter in tn, he also sells standard barrels. towards the end of the year he should have some 270-08 barrels for bolt guns and large frame AR. i'm thinking this one will be a fun build and a good shooting rifle, gathering up the other parts and just waiting now

A lot of guys tried the 270-Redding" but with the poorer selection of 6.8 bullets and the .260 and 7-08 it's never gained any traction. With 130 Bergers it would be a nice round. That's one wildcat that's never gained any traction. Keep us posted.

i've spoken with him several times about this project, uses 308 brass and any number of 270 bullets. only loading gear you need is a 7MM FL die with a 270 expander ball. he's been shooting one for a little over a year now in a bolt gun. he prefers the 130 gr bullets as well
