Think I have notifications everywhere waiting for ammo to pop up. 30-30 hornady 140gn leverevolution on midway popped up briefly for 50 bucks a box with 3 box limit. Sold out quick.

I have never reloaded the 30-30 but I've heard it said that the Sierra 125 grain FN HP is a better performing bullet.
Unfortunately I bet those are unicorns to find right now also.
I haven't reloaded anything thus far. I was just going by bullet coefficent the sierra 125gr. showing a bc of 0.119 while the speer 130 gr. shows .248. Or if your shooting a lever gun and want to do a 2 shooter sierra has a 125gr.spitzer with a bc of .279 and bullet length of 0.879.But like I said I haven't reloaded anything yet, I'm still reading books and trying to understand everything.

Back when you could find some factory 30-30 ammo on the shelves, Federal loaded it with the 125 grain Sierra FN HP.
I'm still trying to understand a lot of stuff about reloading too. It can be fascinating and sometimes frustrating.
