Anyone have any favorite loads for 300 BLK for a 10.5" barrel set up? Gonna try some 150g FMJ and 110g loads with H110 and some 220g subsonic with blue dot. This is a new caliber to me, so any tips or tricks on this round is appreciated.
I have a 8.5" barrel and have been running 208g Amax Bullets with 10.5g of H4198. It shoots really well and is around 1050 fps through my can. I haven't loaded any supersonics yet. If you can find it, Accurate 1680 is suppose to be the go to powder for subsonic rounds.

Ive used IMR4227. You can find data on hodgdenreloading.com. Also check out 300blktalk.com forum. You can find out alot more info there. I've found about 5 1lb of 1680 at Jerry's over the last few months.

This is the same load I use on 208's. It cycles my action without any issues. If you can find some 1680, that's supposed to be the ideal powder. I've tried some 110 and worked well for non semi-autos.

1680 works really well with the subs! I need to load a few hundred in the morning!
Tried out a couple super loads and all cycled fine with 5% reduction from max charge. Both 150g FMJBTs and 110g SP worked flawlessly on 4227 and H110. I'm just waiting for my 208g to show up.
I'm joining the blackout game! Just ordered some brass with the 8.5" barrel I ordered. Now to get bullets/powder and start cranking.
ETA: Has anyone used Lil'gun powder for subs? Hodgdon lists it on their site, and I have some on the shelf. So I'm curious if that will cycle an AR pistol action.
