I have had success with 110 and 150g FMJBT with H110 and 4227, and 208g AMax with 4227. All cycled perfectly on my 10.5" with suppressor. I think 296 should work well also, but not sure of sufficient gas pressure with LilGun. Let us know what you find.
I've had success with 9.5gr IMR4227 behind a 230gr cast. 16" AR barrel w/ pistol length gas system.
How is the speed with the 208s & 4227? Is is subsonic?
Yep. 208's are barely subs with 9.8g of 4227 at 1025-1058
I am running the Hornady 208 gr. A-MAX bullets and 10 gr. of Unique. Velocity is 1,045 fps...

9" barrel, mainly use Lil' Gun with 168gr A-Max but have tried 150-180gr SSTs, Ive shot all loads out to 200 with decent groups. I use Trailboss and 208 A-Max bullets, not sure how fast but accurate to 50yds and quiet. Dont have a chrono
On an AR? Does the Trailboss with 208s cycle?

7.4gr Trail Boss*COMPRESSED LOAD* 208 GR A-max, 4th round, no cycle, other then that 10 I shot at this level ran good.
7.0gr Trail Boss *COMPRESSED LOAD* 208gr A-Max (No issues, 10rds)
6.4gr Trail Boss 208 Gr A-max (wouldnt cycle bolt)
5.8gr Trial Boss 208 GR A-Max wouldnt cycle bolt
No suppressor. Extended pistol buffer tube, pistol gas system(Noveske gas block and tube), SORA Arms compensator
