Ok a year ago or so Hornady changed the shape of the 150gr spitzer #3031 Drastic shape change. so much so that my old load really made me sad.
I worked a few loads in my 30-06 Mossberg 100atr with the new 3031 bullet and found RL15 in R-P cases i annealed and stuck CCI 200 primers in it to light off the heavy 54.5gr load that i seated to 3.225"
I got a 2.74" 4 shot group at 300 yards..WOO HOO! yes my .308 shoots better but for a $250 gun with scope that is decent.

A heavy load 53gr. of IMR 4064 and the 155 A-Max produced a 3.265" 5 shot group seated 3.280" and lit by 210M primers.

All rounds were shot as quick as I could get back on target.
NOTE: These loads work and are safe in my gun and may be over book max in some books. Be safe and work up.

Here is the 2.74" 4 shot picture. This is multiple times fired by me R-P range brass that was annealed but not sorted.
Marked 406 To denote the 4th load I tried in 30-06 yesterday
