At exactly 1:05pm this afternoon, I will have been married to the most incredible woman I have ever met.
We started dating in the late spring/early summer of 1984. We were "going steady" (God, I sound old) on father's day of that year. We rocked along for a good long while and then on Christmas day of 1985, I asked her to spend the rest of her life with me. Thank God she said yes.
The Lord has blessed us in SO many ways. In August of 1991, we were blessed with a daughter Jordan Shelby. Then, tragically, my mother in law passed on New Year's day, 1998. Ten months later, her namesake, Dorothy Jean (my Chigger) arrived.
Mrs. GED, my Cindyann, has been by my side throughout every victory and tragedy you could imagine. She has definitely made me a better person and I hope we have at least another 34 wonderful years together.
