That drive is not that long..Heck with 2 drivers i have made it to Ukiah in 21 hours and stayed in nevada for 2 of those.
best i ever did was a trip to the VA hospital in Portland 31 hours by myself and had to pull over in Idaho and sleep for 2 hours.
That traffic stop could have killed your car, idling for that long could wipe out the cam in older vehicles.
